Crisy
is a special doe for us. Crisy was SGCH.
Jacobs Pride Rock Crystal's last kidding and was a single
birth. Crisy resembles her dam Crystal so much so, that I
find myself thinking she is Crystal at rare moments, bringing
back a flood of memories and that moment's sense of loss.
As
closely as Crisy resembles her dam Crystal, Crisy is an
improvement which is every breeder’s desire. Improving
in each succeeding generation. I am privileged to have had that
happen with our already outstanding doe Crystal.
Crisy is part of our white line that descends down from
our original white doe, SGCH.
Jacobs Pride Yonina 7*M. Our white line is proving to be a
tremendous doe line.
Crisy is
closely related to Jacobs
Pride Bridget Bardoe,
paternal ½ sister to Bridget and Bridget's maternal aunt.
Bridget Bardoe was the 2005 Natl. Jr. Grand Champion and has
linear appraised twice now with a 92 EEEE.
Crisy
is a lovely package. She is outstanding in structure,
in her mammary and her milk production. She's wonderful
to hand milk when those occasions arise.
Crisy’s
personality is extremely sweet and gentle and quickly became a
favorite of our 4 yr. old granddaughter who loves to lead her
around in the herd and holding pen. I can always count on Crisy
for peace in the herd with her quiet, gentle spirit. She is a
vital and an endearing member of our goat herd.
